Specifically, it requires, with certain exceptions, that food that is intended for human consumption and offered for sale bear nutrition information that provides a serving size that reflects the amount of food customarily consumed and is expressed in a common household measure that is appropriate to the food. 21 CFR 101.12(b) establishes RACCs for specified product categories that manufacturers can use to determine the required label serving size. 14:26:16 From Joy Beckerman to Everyone: Health Canada’s July 2022 Review of cannabidiol: Report of the Science Advisory Committee on Health Products Containing Cannabis https://www.canada.ca/en/health-canada/corporate/about-health-canada/public-engagement/external-advisory-bodies/health-products-containing-cannabis/review-cannabidiol-health-products-containing-cannabis.html?fbclid=IwAR3hLAsY4tDh0jQnbu4PgQL09tO0KT7YzgJpTcz5lh73stD9R5k63kF0w2s#a6 14:32:11 From Joy Beckerman to Everyone: European Industrial Hemp Association's (EIHA) "THC Residues in Food" Page: https://eiha.org/thc-in-food/ 14:34:50 From Bonny Jo Peterson to Everyone: What I am proposing is WSDA Food Safety and Dept of Health as regulators with some initial parameters. 14:44:00 From Joy Beckerman to Everyone: Over the counter low-dose cannabidiol: A viewpoint from the ACRE Capacity Building Group https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/02698811211035394 14:50:06 From Joy Beckerman to Everyone: Below are the Task Forces I suggest based on my experience with this process in 17 other states: 1. This is approximately SIX WEEKS away (three task force meetings at current meeting rate). I am estimating on the some of the time necessary for writing/proofreading/editing, but this time estimate might be a useful exercise for the group to work through and determine some time constraints we're working under. 15:56:47 From Bonny Jo Peterson to Everyone: I think it was referencing them. 15:57:51 From Bonny Jo Peterson to Everyone: Woops....that was for Susan. 15:58:16 From Susan Shelton - WA Dept of Health to Everyone: Bonny Jo -- Got it, thanks!
